Two-four-six-eight, Hellcats is not possible to appreciate.
The new CW drama could just as simply have been Cheerios. The set-up is what should be an awkward lift from the cheerleading squad on Glee. All that's missing is Sue Sylvester. Hellcats badly need a character as richly realized.
Marti Perkins, a student at Lancer University in Memphis, views cheerleaders with scorn. They're football groupies in her eyes.
