The great American Idol’s Gina Glocksen and seen “Dancing with the Stars’” Edyta Sliwinska on TV. Stars from Fox TV’s realty TV singing competition, professionals from excellent dancing competitions on ABC and Fox will be on stage for a song and dance extravaganza “Ballroom with a Twist” on March 27. Best of all, said Sliwinska, there are no judges.
“Amazing Performing without the factor of the competition, it’s liberating. No matter how you look at ‘Dancing with the stars, there’s the pressure to do well and the pressure to be judged.”
Sliwinska’s husband, Alec Mazo, was the first winner, with Kelly Monaco, in July 2005.
“It’s great to actually perform before a live audience who are fans of the show,” said Sliwinska, a native place of Poland, who won second place with Jason Taylor in the seventh dancer season in May 2008."American Idol" finalists who will sing with the Grand Rapids Symphony in DeVos Hall next week. “And dancing with fellow professionals who are incredibly talented is a real treat,”
