Auditions will begin in January to find a new singing or acting talent to sign a agreement with one of Korea's leading entertainment agencies, SM Entertainment said yesterday.
The agency's talent search will take place from January to March in 15 cities in the five countries of Korea, China, Canada, Japan, and the U.S., opening with the coastal city of Busan on Jan. 7.
The auditions will progress on to Daegu on Jan. 8, Daejeon on Jan. 14, Gwangju on Jan. 15, and Seoul on Jan. 28 and 29. In February, the team will head to China and the U.S., followed by Canada and Japan in March.
SM Entertainment has produced BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, and f(x), among other stars and idol bands. The audition process is open to any person regardless of their nationality, gender and age.
Those who succeed will be given a chance to sign a special deal with the agency, which will cover all the costs. Further information can be obtained from the agency's official website (www.smtown.com).
