TV Highlights: 'Live to Dance,' 'V,' 'Southland'


HIGHLIGHTS

No need to dissipate any time on cliffhangers: Fans of "Caprica" - the prequel to "Battlestar Galactica" - can get their last taste of the demonstrate Tuesday night, when Syfy airs the last five episodes of the canceled series in a row, preliminary at 6 p.m.

She's back! Paula Abdul returns to the spotlight as a actuality series competition judge on network television - but this time she's in charge with latest show "Live to Dance" (CBS at 8). Dancers battling for a spot, and the eventual $500,000 championship prize, must audition in front of Abdul and other dance experts during initial auditions in New York and Los Angeles in the premiere.

Saving someone's life creates an immediate bond - Jim swoops in to rescue Dave, and he and Stephanie instantaneously become pals with Dave's wife and kids. Nice and normal, right? Unluckily, the family of superheroes realizes their new friends may also be hiding a secret on No normal Family (ABC at 8).

Eleven teams of fresh contestants show up on The Biggest Loser: Couples (NBC at 8), but they instantly have to make a tough choice. They can either start workouts with famed veteran trainers Bob and Jillian, or they can join two new, unknown trainers . . . but receive four weeks of imperviousness.
