Amanda Holden has asked Britain's Got Talent bosses if she can re-shoot scenes for the approaching series where her baby bump is visible to spare her any more heartache over the latest loss of her baby.
The 40-year-old, who lost her baby last month while seven months pregnant, believes seeing herself pregnant on the ITV demonstrate may make herself and her family relive the anguish felt after the disaster.
Therefore scenes of her arriving at various theatres and auditoriums around Britain to judge hopefuls will be shot again and spliced jointly with older footage.
A show source told the Daily Mirror: 'What Amanda has been through was horrendous, and to have to watch herself on TV looking pregnant would be very hard to cope with.
The source added: [The production team] thought the most excellent way was to re-shoot some scenes [and] then slide them into the original footage.
Other footage which cannot be taken again is to be cautiously edited to hide visible evidence of her pregnancy.
