Courteney Cox says she was too shy for Hollywood career

London, Aug 17 (ANI): While Jennifer Aniston made a bounty in Hollywood later than finishing off ‘Friends’, her co-star and friend in the hit sitcom Courteney Cox has said that she was just too shy to venture for the large screen.

The 46-year-old, who played Monica Geller, watched Jennifer, 41, take a string of usher roles in Hollywood flicks, but says she did not have the assurance to go to auditions.

I constantly talked myself out of going in to read. I don’t know if I had that much self-confidence, the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

I was always thinking I needed to do something else, be more unexplained, she added.
